Assistant Director -15-20 hours/week

Children’s Rights Collaborative – CRC provides court-mandated supervised visits for children whose parents are going through a divorce or other kind of family break-up. The agency’s part-time assistant director normally works 15 – 20 hours per week. Work-at-home possibilities exist, but the assistant director should expect to be on-site at the visitation center at least two evenings per week, from 4:30-8:30 p.m.. Ideal opportunity for a retired person or local college student seeking to supplement income or pay for books and tuition. Office located in West Toledo area.

The assistant director will perform these functions

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures
  • Serves administrative role in director’s absence
  • Works with the director to coordinate and supervise daily operations
  • Manages and trains volunteers and contractors
  • May generate correspondence with clients and referral sources
  • Ensures adherence to agency policies and procedures, making necessary adjustments and accommodations
  • Schedules and assigns client contacts
  • Exercises good client relationships in interactions with children and families
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • May assume responsibility for billing and other financial functions
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent, some college desireable
  • Some work experience in an office/administrative setting
  • Proficiency with normal Microsoft Office suite

Salary

  • $10,000-$14,000 per year
